Morgan Tsvangirai
[edit]Is Morgan Tsvangirai still in the Dutch Embassy? 2008 Zimbabwean political negotiations suggests Mr Tsvangirai has since left the embassy, but no date is given. Astronaut (talk) 10:23, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
About Ibrahim
[edit]This is not meant to be vandalism but why would a country give refuge for someone who committed sodomy? Forgive me if I have the definition wrong, but doesn't that mean sexual assault in the anus? Also not to cause controversy, but why is it that out of all the embassies to choose from, he chose Turkey? I don't think their human rights record is that much better than Malaysia's (I'm not saying this is false, I'm just wondering why he chose there). Couldn't he have chosen a European country or a North American country that have an embassy in Malaysia (again just curious)?--99.237.222.73 (talk) 18:32, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
German Refugees 1989
[edit]Would the large groups of (East) German Refugees who sought refuge/passage in the (West) German embassies in Prague, Budapest and Warsaw during 1989 fall within the scope of the article ? 109.145.170.234 (talk) 16:56, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
Khalid bin Bargash
[edit]Khalid bin Bargash actually left the German consulate in Zanzibar by boat without stepping on Zanzibari soil. The consulate was right at the waterfront and the Germans waited until high tide so that a boat from the SMS Seeadler could take him in and bring him to Dar. New York Times titled "Affront to England Germany takes Said Khalid under her protection" [1], so it does not look like negotiated exit. Kipala (talk) 14:21, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
