References

[edit]

The first footnote says to see individual articles for reference. I think Striver, you added that so... can you fish out those references... because... all citations should be on the page of the article. Not on other articles. This needs to be sourced... because the allusions to people are not readily apparent.

Also, why isn't Muhammad listed here? gren グレン 22:24, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, ill try to add them as i stumble on them. I add verses as i stuble on them, and i did'nt come to think about any special one regarding Muhammad... A lot of the verses are related to Muhammad one way or another, for example the Zaid verses. You think we should dublicate them in a Muhammad section? --Striver 22:31, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure if they should be duplicated... I mean... everyime there is a direct reference to a prophet it's a "person related to Qur'anic verses"... but, not exactly subtle. Not sure how to deal with it... but, one outcome of the AfD seemed to be that it should be referenced better. Good luck. gren グレン 22:41, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Move

[edit]

Perhaps this article should be moved to "Persons mentioned in the Qur'an" or "List of Qur'anic characters"?Vice regent 17:03, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Persons related to Qur'anic verses's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 02:20, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
