Criteria for inclusion
[edit]This list seems to have very low criteria for inclusion. The list is spammed by including anyone with the most tangential relation to Pasadena, or people who really aren't very notable. It now becomes nearly impossible to find the people who have a serious connection to Pasadena, such as born, grown up, or lived substantial part of their lives in the city. (OK, you can debate the value of that as well, but at least that would have some meaning.)
When the main Wikipedia article on the person doesn't even mention Pasadena, I think that is a clear sign that they should not be on this list. For example, Amelia Earhart and Kevin Costner.

- But...but...Amelia Earhart once landed her plane at the Burbank/Pasadena Airport! 8^) Agreed - with one caveat -if you can source it in accordance with WP:RELIABLE then it does belong, even if it's not in the Wiki article. I guess you can argue at that point that it should be added to the PERSON'S article, but I've dealt with lots of these lists - and sourcing is perfectly acceptable. The way to deal with this is go through each one - Wiki article only - no mention of Pasadena, they get booted immediately. If sources are available it should be up to the contributor, not us, to find it. Need help? Coordinate with me and we'll each take a letter of the alphabet one day and start cleaning it up. - There. In 20 minutes I cleaned up through MARKHAM. Use the "Find" feature in your browser. Bring up the subject page and run a FIND on the word Pasadena. If it's not found, write the name down. When you've done all you can stand for the moment, edit page and delete those on your list. (BTW, redlinks are ALWAYS deleted!) Then under Edit Summary, type "Rv unreferenced." - There. We make progress.! How does that look? --Manway (talk) 20:01, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
