[edit]A page similar to this one. List of people from San Francisco, is currently under review as an article for deletion, for reasons which would apply to this article as well. I am conducting an RfC on the talk page of the above-mentioned list to determine whether the concensus agrees on keeping such lists or not. Any and all comments are more than welcome. Cleanup
[edit]Since I cannot get a hold of this gentleman, I need to add, Robert Schuch, an actor, producer and stage actor is also from Kenosha, and the yearly festival of Coho Arama is major multistate fishing tournament. It was brought about because of the beaches being closed in the 1960;s due to the alewives that entered the channel, died on the beaches because of salt to fresh water. They imported coho salmon and they eat the alewives as well as bring this extravaganza each year. AND you can take Sheridan Road straight through the city, all the way to Chicago where it turns to Lake Shore Drive. every year there is a Downtown Festival called Crazy Days, with rides etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dlschuch1953 (talk • contribs) 16:23, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
I've removed non-notable people from this list. (The assumption is that anyone notable will have a page. If you disagree with a name that I removed, feel free to create a page for that person.) The rest of the list needs serious cleanup. I might have time for it, but probably not. Any help would be greatly appreciated. --Gimme danger 00:35, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
Inclusion criteria
[edit]There's no clear criteria for inclusion in this list. The title is "people from Kenosha", but the heading says "citizens of Kenosha"; these describe two different things. Some of the people have passed on, and are therefore no longer current citizens. Several have moved. Should these be removed? The article is also completely unreferenced. Should it be deleted? -- Mikeblas (talk) 13:16, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
List of Notable People
[edit]Changing to 'A List of Notable people from Kenosha, Wisconsin. A list of people is too close to being a directory and this will leave room to define what exactly is notable and worth including in a list. Update: read more conventions on this topic and will not move/rename page — Preceding unsigned comment added by KPLZMiller (talk • contribs) 00:23, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
- That's a fairly standard naming convention for breakout lists (i.e., if the "notable people" section is too large to include inline in the article). OhNoitsJamie Talk 00:28, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
