Cleaned up link to Dave Thomas (founder of Wendy's), but it seems pretty clear from both the Wiki article and the Wendy's website that Thomas was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He probably lived in Ft. Wayne for some period in his life (his bio on the Wendy's site mentioned that he and his family "moved around alot" growing up), but I really couldn't find anything definitive on the time purportedly spent in Ft. Wayne. SunDevilEsq 17:05, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
Request for Comment
[edit]A page similar to this one. List of people from San Francisco, is currently under review as an article for deletion, for reasons which would apply to this article as well. I am conducting an RfC on the talk page of the above-mentioned list to determine whether the concensus agrees on keeping such lists or not. Any and all comments are more than welcome. - Perhaps you could provide a link to the RFC page? - Davodd 17:00, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
~~ Also, in fictious people from Fort Wayne: Astronaut Taylor from the movie "Planet of the Apes" was supposedly from Fort Wayne (PLayed by Charlton Heston). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.231.184.150 (talk) 23:40, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
