What about "people who hang out in BC"?
[edit]I'm thinking of celebrites who schmoozed the place; Mitzi Gaynor was the reason as she played the Cave so often and hung out here; Bob Hope and Bing Crosby and some of the Ratpack hung out at Painter's Lodge; Robert Redford has owned land (islands in Indian Arm) for years; same with the guys from the band Yes on Galiano and others. Then there's Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, who now reside in Vancouver, and Tom Selleck, who lives in Matsqui (quietly). These aren't "people from BC" exactly (although the Russell-Hawns now are) but certainly worth listing; also "movies and TV shows made in BC" might be a good category/list.Skookum1 06:18, 23 November 2005 (UTC)
Scientists section
[edit]Had to add Pat McGeer, 'cause he's so obvious, but there's tons of others. Suzuki and Davis were already on the list previously (I think) and I hadn't seen the scientists section before; but it's not as if all scientists in BC were eco-freaks. So McGeer was the obvious foil; and needs a Wiki article anyway, if only more for his politics than his science (though he's no slouch in the latter department).Skookum1 15:09, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
