Unlinked and red linked artists
[edit]I cut the following artists from the list:
- Daniel Antopolsky
- Dallas Moore Band
- Cecil Allen Moore
- Bob Wayne
- Matt Poss Band
While a google search shows that each of these is a real artist/band, the coverage I am seeing does not seem to rise to the level of being "notable". I am leaving them here in case anyone wants to research this more. --User:Khajidha (talk) (contributions) 13:43, 12 September 2022 (UTC)
Who gets listed?
[edit]Tyler Childers and Jaime Wyatt? Really? Neither of them was even born during the "Outlaw Country" movement. According to our own article (which matches my own recollections), the "Outlaw Country" period included the 1970s and the early 1980s. There have been musicians since then that were inspired by the outlaws and there have been subgenres that derived from the outlaws, but that's it. --User:Khajidha (talk) (contributions) 17:54, 12 September 2022 (UTC)
- Agree. Soon all the modern artists who attend Ameripolitan music awards will want to be listed. They should be removed otherwise what criteria is used to filter who makes the cut? 2603:9001:5D00:2608:FC6C:8C29:9612:F44D (talk) 13:57, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
Every country artist is not of the outlaw country subgenre
[edit]I've removed a few that don't qualify, but I daresay most musicians on this list don't qualify. Tom Reedy (talk) 02:46, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
