MTV Unplugged

"Julieta Venegas recorded MTV Unplugged, another chart topper, in Mexico City, becoming the first show in the MTV Unplugged series to be recorded outside the United States.[8]"

Not sure if the second part of this fact is backed by the reference (I don't speak Spanish, but the Google translation is: "Significantly, it is the first time in more than 20 editions of MTV Unplugged, which takes place outside the United States.") However, it is almost certainly false... List of artists featured on MTV Unplugged shows several earlier Unplugged albums that were recorded in Europe.
