Partition of Sudan
[edit]This list may contain a few of what are now South Sudanese newspapers, but I doubt there are that many. While this article has barely changed sense the partition, almost all of the articles listed here are Arabic, which (I would think) would strongly suggest that their Sudanese and not South Sudanese. Furthermore, while there are quite a few redlinks, almost all the bluelinks have articles identifying the papers as Sudanese, tough it could be that those articles are themselves are out of date. newspapers vs websites
[edit]Is there any justification in having a separate List of newspapers and a List of news websites given that in Sudan and in much of the world, most newspapers publish both on paper and online? Boud (talk) 21:49, 30 July 2019 (UTC)
- Good point! I just fixed this issue by adding text in the lead and names of online news magazines.
- On another issue, I don't see the point of redlinks to all newspapers that don't have their own article. They should only be redlinked, if there is a good reason to write such articles. Also, somebody with better access to information in Arabic should delete the names of publications that are out of date or not verifyable by independent sources.
