[edit]Where is Joe Manchin of West Virginia? Chris Coons of Delaware? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.233.148.163 (talk) 05:52, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
Because those were special elections, they became members of the 111th Congress once certified, accepted and sworn in, and therefore not freshmen members for the 112th; if not sworn in due to death, decline to serve, etc., not listed as members. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.202.99.215 (talk) 10:12, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
Additionally, Kirk's will be determined by his resignation from the House of Representatives.75.202.99.215 (talk) 10:30, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
By the way, Manchin and Coons were elected to seats that, in 2010, were not up for regular election. It was different for Kirk of Illinois: He actually won 2 simultaneous elections, one for the little time left in now-President Obama's Senate term, and one for full 6-year term. But that's right, Manchin, Coons, and Kirk were all already in office before start of 112th Congress. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.82 (talk) 15:07, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
Thanks
[edit]Thanks for creating this, as I'm using it to update he External links templates as their 'official links' are being created (GovTrack, Legistorm, etc.) Your work is appreciated. :-) Flatterworld (talk) 16:38, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
Just wondering
[edit]Why is there no column to make note of politicians' education? And, especially given the separation of church and state in this country, why is there a column for their religion?
This! Why is there a column for religion????? Education is much more relevant! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.104.196.186 (talk) 07:43, 3 February 2012 (UTC) 72.84.198.62 (talk) 22:43, 27 July 2011 (UTC)VA prof
How about new special-election arrivals?
[edit]I take it you don't have a seniority list for U.S. House (although you have one for U.S. Senate) because of the much larger number of members. I have read that a replacement for Gabby Giffords just got elected in Arizona; yes, I know it's too late for the START of 112th Congress. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.82 (talk) 15:01, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
