Grand Trunk Pacific Railway

[edit]

What named passenger trains did Grand Trank Pacific Railway operate? Was there ever a GTPR transcontinental? RPHaskell (talk) 04:33, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

They didn't have a transcon train, as they operated only between Winnipeg and Prince Rupert. The eastern part of the construction project was the NTR, which the GTP was supposed to take over, but they never did. If they had names for any of their passenger trains, I have never seen them. Thanks. I noticed that during the same time period both Canadian Pacific Railway and Canadian Northern Railway had several named passenger trains operating in the west. It seemed odd that the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway wouldn't have any, even after the completion of their line to Prince Rupert. Any there any existing GTPR timetables from that era available? Online perhaps? 69.11.67.177 (talk) 16:12, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
