Mausoleum
[edit]In Islam, it is forbidden to take graves as places of worship, there are many references to that. This list contains a mausoleum which I believe should not be included, and I removed it. This was reverted with those words "(...)your opinion does not matter". Could we have the opinion of an exegete? --Io Herodotus (talk) 02:59, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- See WP:NPOV. Wikipedia list is not built based on this or that religious interpretations. There is a mosque built and used by Muslims there, happened to be adjacent to the mausoleum. It is enough to be qualified on the list. JahlilMA (talk) 07:13, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- OK, there are two different buildings adjacent to each other, a mosque and a mausoleum. Perhaps the name of the building refers to the two buildings, is this the case ? By the way, Mosques and Mausoleum are two different types of buildings, it's not a question of interpretation. --Io Herodotus (talk) 14:50, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- I’ll put it this way: There are many cases of mosque containing tomb inside. Depending on the sources, it is referred to as “Mosque of x", "Mausoleum of x" or "Shrine of x". This is one of them. So it can be an issue of semantics. If you want to rename it to "Mosque of x" then go right ahead.JahlilMA (talk) 14:57, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- "Mosques and Mausoleum are two different types of buildings" definition of mausoleum is a building that houses tomb inside. Mosque is a place set up for prayer with necessary equipments. One building can contain both. There are exhaustive numbers of example for this, such as Imam Hussein Shrine and Mausoleum of Abdul-Qadir Gilani. JahlilMA (talk) 15:19, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
