sphere images show a left handed coordinate system.
Comments Column
[edit]Is it really necessary to have this column, since there's nothing in it? 82.12.107.202 09:14, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- I have removed the column because I felt that is was not needed and this talk page seems to confirm that because no reply was made to the above question. --82.157.88.115 (talk) 02:03, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
The above comment is a good point. The figures on this page all show an unconventional left handed coordinate system. It is simple to fix this by merely swapping x and y labels. As all of the geometries are symmetric this wouldn't affect any of the illustrated properties. Cmoshaug (talk) 02:24, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Coordinate Frames
[edit]Coordinate Frames make no sense at all. We need to re-define axes, like x, y and z, instead of width, depth and height.
Error in right circular cone
[edit]I have corrected an apparent error for the right circular cone; the and were be . This has been checked by pretty much everyone I know here and agrees with what is on the List of moments of inertia for the cone. The entry appears to be correct. [12.30pm GMT, 11/11/8]
