[edit]We are a group of Iranian Jewish activists, trying to collect and publish "Iranian Jewish Accomplishments, and their contributions to Iranian/ Persian people in the field of medical and health affairs".
The list provided here is very helpful, but would greatly appreciate if anybody can highlight in this list, or a new list, names and info about doctors, nurses, and founders of hospitals, and/or any mdeical organization throughout the past 2800 years ( First Jewish exile / first temple destruction to current era )
Thanks

This list appears to be completely misnamed, as it does not contain one Persian doctor of the ancient era, most are medieval and some even later. A number of the persons listed do not appear to be Persians and the articles of certain others make no reference to their being doctors. I suggest, at least initially, that the list is renamed “List of Persian physicians of pre-modern era”. Davshul (talk) 09:40, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
- The list was renamed from "List of Ancient Persian doctors" to "List of medieval and pre-modern Persian doctors" on August 6, 2009.Davshul (talk) 12:04, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
