The purpose of this article is to create a meta-list for lists like Magic gun.

Okay, this list is now on my "to do" list. I want to make sure that each item can be verifiable through a third-party source, because we're seeing a lot of trivial mcguffins from fiction being added. Marasmusine (talk) 00:39, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

One of the concerns in the deletion discussion is that this article would be WP:LISTCRUFT. This will be the case if we start listing every magical weapon found in video games, or items from "science fantasy" genres. For that reason, I am reverting these edits.
