Why is Pretty Rhythm, a purely idol series with no magic involved, listed?
[edit]I don't care if x source says Pretty Rhythm is magical girl, it isn't at all and I don't get why it's listed.
- It's listed as a magical girl series by Kettle, a Japanese magazine from Ohta Publishing. ITmedia also describes the franchise as a magical girl series in this article. It's because the characters use "magical clothing transformations" to "become the person they want to be", which identifies with the whole concept behind magical girls. lullabying (talk) 21:17, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- Also, there's huge amounts of magic involved, given that Prism Jumps are both diegetic and corporeal. The King of Prudence (talk) 12:24, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
- That's a good explanation here. Thanks for sharing it here. Historyday01 (talk) 12:41, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
