Note to Editors
[edit]Per WP:BLOGS – "Self-published expert sources may be considered reliable when produced by an established subject-matter expert, whose work in the relevant field has previously been published by reliable, independent publications."
Not every film released in the past and today is reviewed by a mainstream media source (such as The New York Times) or website (such as Deadline Hollywood). Sometimes the only reviews are found in niche publications and blogs by film experts.
In 2010, Film Comment published a list of film blogs: "The Top Film Criticism Sites: An Annotated Blog Roll".
Listed (and linked) in alphabetical order, these are the film blogs in the Film Comment article (some URLs changed since the article was published, while some blogs are no longer active):

My Two Loves
[edit]The made-for-TV movie, My Two Loves, airs. The film features Mariette Hartley questioning her sexuality after her husband dies. She has an affair with Lynn Redgrave in the film. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.148.31.196 (talk) 09:29, 8 August 2013 (UTC)
This 1977 made-for-TV West German film, produced for and broadcast by ARD, was incorrectly added to the list for theatrically released feature films:

LGBT characters not identified up-front
[edit]This list needs an "Identity" row for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender characters (similar to the row in List of feature films with LGBT characters). The point of the list is to highlight the LGBT roles in the movies. If I have time I will add the row to each section and fish the identification of the characters out of the Notes.
