Wikipedia loves libraries

[edit]

So far as I know this is the first list on Wikipedia of a list of libraries for a particular city. If there are others I would like to see them.

I made this page to get ready for Wikipedia Loves Libraries, an in-person meetup Tuesday October 25 2011 u-district meetup wherein Wikipedians talk about promoting their area's libraries. Read more about the event at Wikipedia:Meetup/seattleWLL.

I am unsure about how the layout of this page should be and what info should be included. I would much appreciate feedback because I think that these sorts of pages ought to be created for every city in the world, and a model ought to be designed. Blue Rasberry (talk) 23:08, 10 October 2011=

[edit]

I removed this listing. Although it's shown as a library on the Gates list, as far as I can tell there is no physical library, or at least a formal one that's available to the public. The section "Research and Collections" on their website links to online guides of their collections of specimens and artifacts. They have access to the UW Libraries on campus.Cataobh (talk) 07:35, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
