Important ships missing...

Sadly I'm not adept enough to add these, but the James Craig (1874 bargue), the Elissa out of Galveston and the French Navy sail training vessel Belem are all missing from the list. Together with the Star of India, they are the sole remaining pre-1900 3-mast barques still afloat and sailing. If you are an enthusiast and able to code, please add their details. Also historic ships?

Is this article supposed to be about ships that are still sailing/in drydock, or the biggest ships of all time? At first I assumed it was the former, but there is at least one ship on this list that is in 6m of water. The William D. Lawrence (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_D._Lawrence_%28ship%29) had a length of 262ft and deserves to be on this list -if indeed it is meant to be a list of the biggest sailing ships of all time. Inclusion criteria

The intro says

"Includes vessels greater than about 200 feet (61 m) LOA" [including bowsprit etc.]

I wonder whether anybody really though about what this means. Sigyn happens to be a little bit less (57,5 m), so she can be used to compare with. She was considered small as an ocean going ship when built 1887. I suppose at least most fully rigged ships and most iron and steel barques were bigger than that (Cutty Sark, not at all a large ship, is 85,4 m). We are talking about thousands of vessels. Is this really intended?

I would expect different thresholds for historic ships (probably thousands of vessels bigger than 200 feet - I wouldn't expect all of them to be listed) and actively sailing ships (which are far fewer, and I would expect all of them to be listed). I would also expect ships that for various reasons are well-known or famous to be listed, even if they are a bit below the thresholds.

A little unclear on the inclusion criteria, but the Portuguese Grand Banks fishing schooner the Argus is 248' long. It was built in 1938 and featured in the book by Allen Villers, “The Quest for the Schooner Argus", and in a National Geographic article. For a while it was operated in the Caribbean as a "windjammer" vessel, under the name Polynesia. But she has since been re-acquired by Portugal and given back the original name Argus, and is being restored. [1] Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page).

Missing column for the flag carried and registry port

This was my natural go-to-page when I had forgotten the name of a very well-known boat. Without even looking at the table I entered the country of the flag. For this ship I got lucky, I got a match on "shipyard".

Many of the tall ships carry their national flag with pride and spend more time in their home port than out sailing. I think this is information that ought to be easily available in the table.
