Cold Lake has a town named after itself in Alberta, and this entry USED to link to the town. I have since changed the wikilink to Cold Lake (Alberta) to conform to standard wiki practices (see WP:LAKES). I could have made it with (saskatchewan), but I figured since the town resides in Alberta, I would give ownership of the lake in Wikipedia to Alberta. If anyone disputes this, please discuss :D
Looking at a map of Canada, I see a string of large lakes from the Great Lakes up to northern Alaska. Is there a a name for these? Anyway, I think this page could use a list of Canada's largest lakes, say the top 20 or the top 50. Ideally, the lists on this page could go into a table sortable by size or by province.CountMacula (talk) 17:45, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Done: Listed largest 50 lakes of Canada and for the rest of Canada listed lakes larger than 400 km2 (nearly 150 lakes). -- Kayoty (talk) 18:16, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
