And I reverted the move. Per WP:LISTNAME: "Best practice is to avoid words like notable, famous, noted, prominent, etc. in the title of a list article." There is only one article in all of English Wikipedia titled "List of notable . . . " UnitedStatesian (talk) 13:37, 14 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
There is no consensus for your revert. Your LIST guideline, is a guideline, as it says, common sense applies and exception applies. In this case, the article name, "List of Notable" makes more sense. Sir Joseph(talk)18:31, 14 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Sir Joseph Per WP:BOLD you were perfectly within your rights to make the move. But you are wrong regarding the revert. Discussion should definitely come after a revert, see WP:BRD, but there is no imperative to discuss before a revert. Debresser (talk) 16:48, 16 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
