Unnecessary Items In List
[edit]I'm not sure why about a third of the items on this list are even here. Winter Melon Juice is a sweetened drink, not a juice per se. And technically a juice can be made from pretty much any fruit or vegetable or plant—but there's neither a reason nor space to include them all. I often wonder what the need is for lists such as these, when someone might simply look up information on each individual item—such as cantaloupe. And speaking of, the entry for cantaloupe doesn't even mention cantaloupe juice as a thing. Perhaps that's reason enough not to include it on this list. Meanwhile, watermelon juice—which is a product sold at Ralph's grocery stores in California, isn't included on the list. Neither are blood orange, cherry, pumpkin, acai, V8, peach or blueberry juices, or any of the nectars such as pear, guava or mango, while raspberry vinegar (which isn't a juice at all) is. 2601:140:8302:E260:18B4:B257:5BB4:9469 (talk) 04:46, 26 May 2016 (UTC)
- No doubt this page needs some work, I made an account just for the purpose of cleaning it up a bit. I'm holding off on any major changes until I settle in a little more, I'm willing to work with other contributors to determine the qualifications for what should be considered for this list.
- I think there is merit to the list, in providing a resource for those who seek a list of beverages that are fruit/vegetable based. I am personally interested in the juices of the world and find value in a page like this. I think starting with the low hanging fruit- so to speak, is a good idea. Entries like "Clam juice" can definitely be removed in my opinion. Including clam juice in this list opens the door up to too many considerations, and is not in the spirit of the article. Personally, I see this article as a reference for those seeking information on types of juice available around the world. However general, the topic deserves a more pointed focus to better serve readers. Fight For Juice (talk) 19:11, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
Hey guys! I'm QueryCalf, also known as Tooilet. I have something to say: I've made a dark green juice by combining Fun Dip powder (both flavors), Water, skittles, smarties, Pixy Stix, and juice from Cuties. It tastes kind of sour, but I like it. The downside is: I'm looking for the name of it, but I can't seem to find it! Does anybody know what this juice is called? If so, telling me would be greatly appreciated.
- Your concoction is not a juice. Rather, it a sweetened beverage. North America1000 21:56, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
