Hi Everyone

Not an editor but the link for Hunter Group of islands is incorrect, it goes to a south african military group.

This is way harder than I thought!

[edit]
  • A lot of islands do not have their area defined... but the area of a group is provided. (eg Eddystone/Pedra Branca/Sidmouth Rock are 2 ha total)
  • A lot of islands do not have individual names eg Three Sisters
  • How do you differentiate Robbins Island from Hogan Island - they're both in Bass Strait. It would be more natural to describe the coastal islands as which coast they are off (eg. Robbins Island - north-west Tasmania) but how far from the coast is too far?

Any ideas welcomed :) -- Chuq (talk) 12:04, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

area of mainland

[edit]

"The Tasmanian mainland itself is an island, with an area of 64,519 km2"

However, States and territories of Australia has whole area of the state as 64,519 km2. List of islands by area has area of 65,022 km2. Something is not right... 46.132.75.105 (talk) 01:17, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
