dumb list

[edit]

This is a dumb list, and not good for anything. I suggest a smart list:

  • islands sorted by atolls
  • within atolls, in clockwise sequence
  • where available, coordinates with appropriate template

If there is no objection, I will delete the information of this dumb list and replace it with a smart list, step by step--Ratzer 10:11, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Considering eight months have passed, I guess there are no objections. Therefore, I guess, you are welcome to delete the dumb list and replace it --Maurice45 (talk) 20:09, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A year has passed since that and nothing has happened. Is anyone going to replace this list with a smarter one or not? And why does the list include many duplicated entries? JIP | Talk 15:58, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry I had forgotten about this, but here we go. The question is, do we need this list at all? After all, the islands are also listed in the individual atoll articles. Anyone in doubt, please enter this list for deletion.--Ratzer (talk) 07:02, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
With regard to the "duplicate" entries - this is because many atolls have islands of the same name as another (e.g. Both Peros Banhos and Salomon have an island named "Anglaise". As for deletion - I leave that for you guys to decide --Maurice45 (talk) 14:51, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
