[edit]

I don't understand why this page exists in its own right. It should be included in the Throwing (cricket) page instead, so as to have a comprehensive article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.130.63.102 (talk) 22:12, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

1. It may be a good idea to seperate it out into players who have been called in international matches and otherwise.

2. The list in Tests can be found at [2] In ODIs has there been anyone other than Murali ?

3. [3] contains some interesting stuff, but the list at the end has some errors.

4. I think Lawson and Harby were never called but only 'reported'.

5. The next step could be to expand the list of chuckers in Test crickters' into one like the one for scorers of triple hundreds, with notes/trivia added.

Chuckers

[edit]

I know this is a "List of ...." article. However, I think, for non-cricket enthusiasts, something should be said about the nature of being called a chucker. It not like a soccer player being off-side, a rugby player dropping a pass or a tennis player double faulting, it's seen as morally reprehensible. To the cricketing public its an accusation of cheating. Avalon 10:49, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. I added a bit -- —Moondyne 13:47, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
