Why do we need this list?

This could be accomplished much better with a category. Is there any reason to keep this list, or should I propose it for deletion? —C.Fred (talk) 06:25, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

{{editsemiprotected}} Request editing "List of house music artists" A notable omission is Kristine W. Last year (2009) she had her 14th #1 Dance recording on Billboard's Dance charts. Since then, she has released a new album and is going for # 15 (that should hit #1 within the next 2 weeks at the rate it is moving up the charts). Her "Miles High Productions" showcases her achievements and proves her lasting impression on House Music. She has millions of fans world wide and is an icon in the house music genre. To leave her off this list makes the list unimportant. Thank You for your assistance and please forgive me if my form is not correct/perfect. sixfeetallman````

Please add The Chainsmokers to the list of house music artists because this American DJ duo are very highly known throughout the EDM industry and they have had two hit singles (#Selfie & Roses) and one single released with Tiësto, the greatest DJ of all-time.

Contributing artist and musician's

Why is DJ Doc Martin who is responsible for bringing house music to the west coast since the early 90's not mentioned on this page. He also has a music label under the name Sublevel California and has been collaberating with house music dj's and world class clubs since the early 90's. 2600:8801:B81E:C000:3C9A:FDF0:3E47:1A12 (talk) 03:43, 7 August 2023 (UTC)

Songs

This article isn't helpful for the non-expert to look for house music. It lists a wide array of artists, of which some it is unclear why they are on the list, or that are not really known for their house music (example: Pet Shop Boys are primarily synth-pop). The article could be more stylised like the article on post-disco (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_post-disco_artists_and_songs) which lists example songs and albums first. 2A02:1810:2F1F:E300:FC5F:3F45:4CEF:B6B5 (talk) 12:57, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
