[edit]- keep - Horse drawn railway looks more like a timeline, and arguably does not belong with wagonway. Tabletop (talk) 02:16, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
- keep separate these examples are developing into proper tramways and railways, and should be kept separate from wagonway which are much more primitive. Tabletop (talk) 08:30, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
Convict and Mule
[edit]There probably aren't enough examples of Convict and Mule drawn railways for separate files, so include them here. Tabletop (talk) 14:33, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
urban passenger trams?
[edit]The lists at present contain a number of railways called "tramway", but they appear to have all been built for freight as well as passengers. Should metropolitan horse-drawn passenger tram networks be included? There were privately-operated Trams in Adelaide commencing 1876 until they were purchased by the government in 1906 and electrified in 1909. Likely many other cities also had horse-drawn trams in the 1890s. --Scott Davis Talk 02:50, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
Shunting section
[edit]I removed the shunting section which was added with these four edits since they make no sense. Burra and Dry Creek are mentioned without any lead-in. There are 2 alleged citations which are so broad (an entire year) that they are useless for verifying. The Trove external link isn't helpful in that it returns over 200 million results. It looks like the intent of that edit was to mention 2 shunting locations, however there just isn't any information to verify it. Grorp (talk) 07:05, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
