  2. Remove chinese characters per WP:Manual of Style (use of Chinese language), which states "if a term is Wikified and has an article, do not provide (Chinese) characters or romanization again."  Done - ¢Spender1983 (talk) 23:46, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    1. As more articles are written and the red links are eliminated, the chinese characters for those entries should be removed.
  3. Add a ranking column to make this article consistent with other bridge ranking lists.  Done - ¢Spender1983 (talk) 00:01, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  4. Add a picture column to make this article consistent with other bridge ranking lists.  Done ShakyIsles (talk) 22:20, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  5. Change the primary (first) unit listed from feet to meters (feet is too Americentric and this is a list of bridges in the whole world).  Done ShakyIsles (talk) 07:17, 7 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  6. Add in-line citations and references to the height numbers by which articles are ranked (necessary for this article to move up to good or featured status).  Done ShakyIsles (talk) 05:00, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Futher thoughts on cleanup

  1. Improve and verify timeline section.
  2. Find pictures for the remaining bridges.
  3. Create articles for bridges currently lacking an article.
  4. Improve references (currently most are from HighestBridges.com)
  5. Standidise location format i.e Region, District, County (it currently varies a lot)
  6. Standidise picture sizes to ensure table spacing is consistant
