Why I suggested deleting it
[edit]Assuming this list is supposed to be of all schools teaching 14 - 18 year olds in Turkey (and not just "lycee") as described in the "education in Turkey" article then it seems unlikely it would ever be anywhere near complete. As a very small number of the schools are likely to be notable then I cannot see the point of having a list of so many red links. Are there reasonably complete lists of high schools for any other large country on Wikipedia?
If you are interested in Turkish education why not spend your time on improving the "education in Turkey" article and link to any useful MEB (Ed. Ministry) lists? Jzlcdh (talk) 12:34, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- since by established practice every one of them would be notable, this list serves as an indication of the work to be done,. People who know about a particular school will find the article by searching for the school name, and realise the potential. This is how WP grows. We've done it for essentially all in the UK, and most high schools in the US, so we should do it for every country. WP covers the world. We need to encourage global coverage.
