Redundant column

[edit]

What's the purpose of the column labeled "Next in Succession"? It seems to just be the name of the next person on the list, which is unnecessary, since you just need to look at the next line. LarryJeff (talk) 19:51, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. If it listed whoever was next in line, that would be one thing, but that is not what it is doing. I'll remove it. john k (talk) 20:14, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Restoration

[edit]

If the monarchy was restored who would be the claimant? For instance we have Line of succession to the Bulgarian throne even though it was abolished. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 13:14, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It depends on who you ask. See line of succession to the Russian throne. john k (talk) 17:44, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Elizabeth Alexandrowna

[edit]

How could Elizabeth Alexandrowna, daughter of Alexander I have been heir from 1806 to 1808 when there was a semi salic law of succession in operation? There were two brothers! Gerard von Hebel (talk) 12:53, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress

[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:List of heirs to the Austrian throne which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 03:01, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Why Tsarevich?

[edit]

Tsarevich = "the heir of a Tsar". "The heir of an Emperor" ("of a Caesar") is "Tsesarevich" ("Caesarevich"). It is the official title of successors of the Russian thron. There were no tsarevichs in Russia after Elisabeth Petrovna. 85.142.124.2 (talk) 13:50, 15 April 2019 (UTC)Melkij Bes[reply]
