Muriel Robin

[edit]

Muriel Robin is a famous French comedian (famous in France anyway...), born August 2nd, 1955, who recently came out. She gave an interview to têtu, a gay magazine, about dropping her mask: http://www.tetu.com/actualites/people/muriel-robin-je-tombe-le-masque-je-nai-plus-peur-15611/10 She came out in several other magazine as liking men and women. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Amidabutsu (talkcontribs) 16:41, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please add Kieron Richardson to the list. He is a British actor (Ste Hay, Hollyoaks) and came out as gay 5 months ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKZkZZjQ_JE He confirms it in this interview at 5:08 86.135.148.81 (talk) 19:36, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Youtube videos are almost never considered reliable sources, except when posted by the source itself (and then only under the exceptions for any self-published source) or when released as part of an official channel, like if a news show had a youtube channel with clips. If you do have a source that meets the reliable sources guidelines, please make a new edit request with that information. Qwyrxian (talk) 05:12, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Although your right, YouTube videos have been accepted in FA and GA-status articles. They aren't encouraged as a source, but if there aren't any RS out there, then the original content (YouTube video, official video) would take its place. AJona1992 (talk) 16:48, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I submitted an edit request earlier, but was refused on the grounds that my source was from YouTube. This new reference should be more acceptable. (Kieron Richardson, British, Actor, Gay) http://www.guardian.co.uk/tv-and-radio/2010/sep/15/hollyoaks-actor-kieron-richardson-gay

Craig Rodwell

[edit]

Been trying to fix the Craig Rodwell Papers at the NYPL dead link but the correction won't take: "Craig Rodwell Papers", New York Public Library, February 1999, retrieved 2011-07-25. Might the problem have something to do with my status and, if so, how can I correct this? --Stnwll (talk) 17:26, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

where is he? --68.51.87.188 (talk) 20:31, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

He can be added if you provide a reliable source, but not if you don't. Even his primary article doesn't currently state (or reference) whether he was gay or not. Bearcat (talk) 22:23, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Travis John Pollock B 1981 Actor Adult Entertainment

  •  Not done For one thing, Pollock does not begin with an R. For two, he does not have a Wikipedia article at that name to link to — this is not a free-for-all list of every LGBT person in the world, it is a list of LGBT people who have Wikipedia articles, and a person cannot be listed here if they don't have one. For three, even if he did have one you haven't provided a source. Bearcat (talk) 06:16, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Raven-Symoné

[edit]

Raven-Symoné is classified as Lesbian in this list. She herself, says, however rejects the labeling of herself and of identifying as either African-American or gay, specifying that she is an "American" and a "human who loves humans." Classifying her as lesbian against her will, is very much like classifying a human with 1/64 black descent as a Negro against her will: a personal violation. It was once done by racist governments, now its done by gay activists.

I suggest that Raven-Symoné should be removed from this list. Weatherford (talk) 21:41, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Weatherford: You came here to request something you can remove yourself or to attack people? (CC) Tbhotch 21:55, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Tbhotch: I'm sorry. My intentions was not to attack people, just showing how demeaning this entry might be perceived. I will not remove anything without support from other editors; I am trying to improve the akribi of the list, not start an editorial war. Weatherford (talk) 22:01, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Removed as uncontested. In this source she says that she said a lot of stuff in The View without thinking and being objective, in the program she was asked what would you do to reject men. (CC) Tbhotch 04:01, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
