Mahwah use
[edit]Don't know for sure but was told by a Mahwah veteran that the plant grounds were used to construct a shopping mall. Perhaps an area resident or former employee could confirm.....Paulmeisel 00:43, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

Bob Wilson, rwilson8331@comcast.net----The Fisher Body Plant in Flint is not located on Hamilton Avenue-----It is located on South Saginaw St. between Atherton and Hemphill Rds. It is the site purchased from Durant Motor Car Company-by Fisher Body after the Dupont take-over from "Billy Durant" about 1921. It was the main supplier of Buick Bodies until construction of "Buick City" in 1984, had a short life just like the "Auto World" complex, a product of gross incompetence which was later demolished, just like Buick City which eventually reduced General Motors Division jobs in Genesee County from 85,000 to 8,000, however still representing about the same percentage proportion of the economy in Genesee County. The input/output through automation, robotics and computerization reduced the labor intensive operations to about 7 percent of the sales price? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.238.180.86 (talk) 07:45, 19 July 2013 (UTC) What of the Ford small plants? Mostly in Michigans' U.P.,also at Dundee. Ford had an assembly plant East side of Indianapolis. GM had plants in Indianapolis, so did Chrysler. There are many non big 3 plants still standing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.150.163.193 (talk) 16:03, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
