Old numbers

[edit]

This information mainly comes from [1] (1946) and [2] (1955); TerraServer-USA has topos that show the part close to Maine. Of course not everything was renumbered at once; a lot of this is just old alignments.

32, 36, and 39 are missing.

Routes were numbered by 1929: [3] --NE2 10:47, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Here we go: 1927. [4] --NE2 11:19, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

According to [5] (an unreliable source), 1-20 were state-maintained and 21-43 were county-maintained, until counties were abolished in 1965. [6] is an updated version of the site, but without that information. Hopefully someone can find a good source for it. --NE2 11:35, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Old marker

[edit]

[7] - apparently this sign was only five years old, since the renumbering was in 1965. --NE2 20:46, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Route 810

[edit]

Pure curiosity...anyone know where Route 810 was? I assume in Saint John area somewhere. Mrwalis99 (talk) 17:54, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
