"ha of forest"
[edit]What it is? Clarificationgiven (talk) 07:31, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
- hectares, I was following "symbols may also be used when a unit (especially one with a very long name) is used many times in an article." from WP:Units#Conventions but since it appears confusing (I can understand why) I'll reword it without the contraction. -- Mrmatiko (talk) 08:38, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

Scotland and Wales
[edit]Really don't know why these lists are here since forests outside of England are not managed by the Forestry Commission! There seems to already be a page dedicated to the Scottish ones, would it not be appropriate to relocate the Welsh list to an equivalent page? Geopersona (talk) 19:34, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
- I now propose to delete the Scottish list from this page as i) it contains less information than can be found on the list of Scottish forests that is mentioned and ii) they're not managed by the FC! I also propose to remove the Welsh list to a new page dedicated to forests managed by NRW - again, as stated, not managed by FC so have no place here beyond a mention in history. How best to preserve the editing history in respect of the Welsh content though? Geopersona (talk) 05:12, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
