Same day winners

When more than one athlete won their country's first medal on the same day but in different events, how do we handle this? Do they both count, or do we have to research the actual time the events were held? Bkatcher (talk) 05:01, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Countries Whose First Gold Medal Was Their First Olympic Medal Period?
