[edit]See a problem with Wikipedia's 1933 listing, which includes seven films: Blood Money, Design for Living, Extase, Grandeur and Decadence, Queen Christina, The Worst Woman in Paris, and Grease.
Have not been able to find any information on the 1933 Grease. Title link connects to a general "Grease" disambiguation page that references (under Entertainment) only the 1978 Travolta/Newton-John film, also condemned by the Legion of Decency. The 1933 Grease entry was a 4 September 2009 addition and the history gives no reason for the change. I believe the listing is an error and want to undo but would appreciate input from anyone with knowledge of a 1933 Grease.
Most websites covering the Legion's condemned list are based on Wikipedia but one site--happens to be, ahem, Citizendium (http://www.citizendia.org/List_of_films_condemned_by_the_Legion_of_Decency) --does not list a 1933 Grease. It also does not list Extase (or Ekstase or Ecstasy), a fairly well-known Hedy Lamarr film so think that's a Citizendium error.

Is this a reputable source?
[edit]There's a 2018 article out from Reprobate Magazine that claims to have all the films in this list. Can we consider that to be a "reputable source" and flesh out the article using that information? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 169.229.230.100 (talk) 23:16, 11 May 2018 (UTC)
The better approach would be to reference the list itself in "External Links" (sorry I don't know the protocol or I would do it myself)... here is the URL: Archive of Legion of Decency film review list --69.40.114.14 (talk) 20:06, 3 May 2020 (UTC)
The article needs references and is often incorrect
[edit]Many of these films at the time were given "A-IV: For adults with reservations".s Foofbun (talk) 23:17, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
