Splitting the list

As there is a fandom name for basically ever KPop group out there (plus multiple sub fandom names), one could easily over run this list with just those. Perhaps it should be split into it's own list - like, one list for tv/film, one for music, one for kpop, etc? 96.80.209.213 (talk) 00:15, 7 April 2016 (UTC)

I would like to request Placebo (the band) fans and Red Rising (the book series) fans be added. Placebo fans are called Soulmates and Red Rising fans are called Howlers.

Placebo is too difficult to prove. The name is used on tumblr, on facebook, on Twitter, but I could find no official source since the band basically only talks about music and nothing more.

The author of Red Rising refers to his fans on all his official pages but here's a random interview to cite

Madonna

I first make the question before make an edition, because I'm not sure. My question is, according to this book, the teenage fans of Madonna are called Madonna wannabes. This statement or fandom nickname (at least for one of the part of her fan groups), are in the criteria of the list?. Chrishonduras (talk) 18:27, 6 September 2016 (UTC)

Notability requirement for list

This list could potentially include thousands of names for sports teams, musicians and TV shows. I would like to propose limiting it to those which are either (a) covered by their own article, meaning they are truly notable, e.g. Twihards, KISS Army or Red Sox Nation; or (b) covered in a section of the subject's article, e.g. "Little monsters" gets a mention in Lady Gaga#Public image. Currently there are some that are not mentioned anywhere on Wikipedia outside of this list, even in the subject's article, e.g. "Kellebrities" (Kelly Clarkson) and "Fighters" (Christina Aguilera). To stop this list getting out of control, these non-notable ones should be culled. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 03:07, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

I don't think so. Please verify this essay. Chrishonduras (Diskussion) 07:00, 7 November 2016 (UTC)

Hello,

I would like to add the K-Pop girl group "f(x)" to the list. Their fandom name is "MeU" - which is already listed on the F(x) wikipedia page. In the respective note section, would also like to add that the fandom name stands for "Me" and "You" as well as the greek mathematical symbol "mu" (µ) related to the mathematical function and group name "f(x)"

Marina and the Diamonds

Marina and the Diamonds' fandom is named "Diamonds" and is often confused with the singer's band, but she has already stated that part of her artistic name refers to her fans.

Haters of 'Twice'.

Twice is a massively popular group, so popular that even their haters have their own fandom name. They're called 'Thrice', and i suggest you add that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jhhuk (talkcontribs) 15:22, 1 April 2018 (UTC)

Even if you did provide a citation for that name, it's misleading to call such people a fandom; they're more like an anti-fandom for the group. Snuggums (talk / edits) 15:30, 1 April 2018 (UTC)

Could I add Christina Grimmie to the list?

I'm not a fan of Christina myself, but I think she's reasonably famous. I asked some of her fans on Instagram and Twitter what I should add, and they suggested Team Grimmie. I have an official source that says Team Grimmie, and I think I should add her. Would that be okay? I'm surprised she wasn't already added, with all the obscurer fandom nicknames being here, I think it would be okay to add her. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joey kl22 (talkcontribs) 22:16, 4 July 2018 (UTC)

SF9's fandom name is confirmed to be FANTASY. I do not know for sure what kind of source would work best here, but the company behind the band announced it as well, which seems official enough. https://www.fncent.com/?m=bbs&bid=korea&mod=view&r=SF9&cat=2&uid=26215 Here it specifically says, "FANTASY 팬클럽" (which should be "FANTASY fanclub").
