Consensus to Split? Or lack there of... Part 2?

[edit]

Continuing from the previous disscussion:[1]

It seems that many edits made over recent times have had a lack of consensus. This is particularly true when it comes to the idea of splitting parts of this page - [[2]. As previously discussed [3], the page combines all branches of the AFU's equipment. I'm interested to hear what others have to say though. Basedosaurus (talk) 15:10, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ukraine-Russian War Equipment Loose

[edit]

Why nobody adding Ukrainian equipment looses? For example Ukraine lost 21 out of 31 M1 Abrams MBTs. Antoni.leonidis (talk) 14:09, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

KTO ROSOMAK is not Polish vehicle

[edit]

The vehicle is Finnish AMV's licence build version, only the name is Polish so there should be Finnish flag next to that vehicle. 93.106.175.83 (talk) 21:33, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why were so many UAVs removed?

[edit]

Looking at the previous revision, vast majority of reconnaissance UAVs were removed. Already weird that half of the Ukrainian made and used drones are gone since they directly reach the army, but most of all those removed western drones are actively used too, and you can find them on sites like oryx too. For some reason its only the six Primoco Ones that stay? What is the logic in this

Only the long range drones are in the loitering munitions section now??

I get that the list was long but all of these are relevant and in use. The article isn't for summarizing anything Slimebor (talk) 20:18, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The four examples of what Wikipedia articles shouldn't be don't really say anything about a situation like this.
For example, Switchblades are documented on wikipedia itself and in other sources about the war, more than the Morok UAV which wasn't removed. There is no explanation as to why only a really long range drone is suitable for keeping. I could make the claim that small loitering munitions are used more so they are the more relevant one. What prevents both of them being kept? Slimebor (talk) 08:31, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Moving to USF is not a bad idea but not all drones (like switchblades or warmates or some recon drones) are moved to USF, some are still in units in TDF and the regular army. Slimebor (talk) 19:36, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I see no reason to rush things out here WP:HASTE. There's the Unmanned Systems Forces that could use some expansion. I'm just waiting for the 2025 edition of the Military Balance to make a more comprehensible list of equipment on that article.
