Criteria and formatting

This is a list of people from Montana who played or coached football and who were born, raised, resided, or participated in a notable event in Montana. This list strives to maintain the fundamental Wikipedia principle of a neutral point of view; therefore, Montanans who are "fallen", have a bad reputation, or are unpopular could be included if they meet Wikipedia notability criteria and an article about them must exist on the English Wikipedia. Their entry on this list must be in the format of the other entries and must have a reliable reference.
