I think we could easily make this a featured list like this article. To do it, we'd need both the game's main tracklisting and all DLC on one page. As for how to address it on the main page, the actual Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock article has a simple link to that page under "Soundtrack". We could probably embellish it beyond that, of course, but it clearly didn't hinder that article's GA status. Any thoughts? LazyBastardGuy 19:59, 31 January 2013 (UTC)

I've already posted this on your talk page, but for anyone else: I've tried to make as best an article as I personally can, however don't know how to further proceed from here as far as choosing what information should be removed from pages (like Rocksmith 2014) and instead just replaced with a link to the new page. Furthermore, I'm sure somebody will find issue with the formatting/choice of data, but I find it personally a lot more informational than this current one.
New page I'm referring to is here: List_of_songs_in_Rocksmith_2014 - let me know any thoughts, thanks.

Why the specific mention of "The Offspring"?

As of this writing none of the Rocksmith DLC can be purchased on the PC through Steam if you do not also own Rocksmith. This problem is not specific to the "The Offspring" DLC but is presented as such. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.234.219.112 (talk) 00:15, 20 October 2014 (UTC)

Hendrix songs all E Standard?

I really don't think that's the case. Bold as Love seems to be in E♭, and that's just off a quick google. There's no need for a 'placeholder' there; if the (official) tuning isn't known, just take it out. I will shortly absent objections. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.160.130.14 (talk) 22:53, 27 November 2014 (UTC)

Tuning

Please add a tab for "Tuning" that shows the guitar tuning used for each song. E A D G B E. Would really help for people that don't want songs that require a lot of re-tuning. Outside of buying the song and downloading it, I have yet to find a reliable way to see what tuning is used, including going by the songs actual transcription. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:7:7F00:D6:B4DA:B786:A97B:9881 (talk) 08:13, 16 February 2014 (UTC)

I did this earlier - currently working on something to the effect of what LazyBastardGuy below suggested. irtrav (talk) 17:26, 19 February 2014 (UTC)

We should indicate that this is the Guitar's tuning and not the Bass's tuning. Should we also add a column for bass tuning? 216.152.96.22 (talk) 22:43, 23 February 2016 (UTC)

Rowspanning

In the next couple days, I'm going begin working through the table to implement rowspans. There's a lot of repeated data and the table has grown over 100kb. This will not break sorting. Just wanted to leave a heads up before I begin. -- ferret (talk) 02:34, 10 April 2016 (UTC)

Done. Article size reduced by 40%. -- ferret (talk) 19:56, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... it continues to be relevant as it is updated weekly with new information. As recently as June 27, 2017, new content was added. I oppose speedy, vg not covered under db-web and 700+rev, 5yr old list deserves AfD. --Ryanmalone13 (talk) 21:43, 30 June 2017 (UTC)

Have to agree. I believe it would likely survive AfD as well, WP:LISTN seems to be met with sources periodically covering the release of new DLC. -- ferret (talk) 21:53, 30 June 2017 (UTC)

Add Music Genre Column

As almost all these songs have their own wikipedia page where they are already clasified by genre (not by band, specifically by song). It would be very usefull so to be able to sort them by style. And for the not already classified it would translate into a help for Wikipedia completeness effort into categorizing those. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.143.60.96 (talk) 14:42, 13 August 2017 (UTC)

Genres and styles are often very contentious on Wikipedia. I would be against the inclusion of that column. Some of suggested we need to remove columns as is (See the AFD). -- ferret (talk) 15:11, 13 August 2017 (UTC)

I would be for the inclusion of a genre section, so long as we have a small pool of generes to pick from and bar the use of any subgenres of those listed genres. (ex, death metal/metalcore would still fall under "heavy metal"). This would definitely take a combined effort to accomplish however
