Unlisted T-33 on display in Hillsboro ND
[edit]While I never took the time to stop & give it a good walk around it's long been a pleasant memory from every time I would arrive in Hillsboro via the service road to the South. However, in looking for it here, I see it is not listed among those preserved or displayed?! I can confirm, via google maps, that this T-33 still existed in Hillsboro ND as of 2021. It is marked as 53-5326 & bears the tail marking of the 119th FG "Happy Hooligans." It can be seen at 47°23'56.0"N 97°03'32.0"W
I found a photo of this aircraft, taken while it was still in service, at this website; https://www.aerialvisuals.ca/AirframePhotoViewer.php?Serial=143636
She's been terribly neglected in the 40-odd years since she was seen in that photo...
