[edit]My comment has mysteriously been removed, so I'll make it again: Homosexuality seems to be missing from the list. it is acknowledged in some academic circles and not in others, hence it should be mentioned so that people can click the link and get further clarification on the subject.
Quote from the the Wikipedia article on homosexuality: "...homosexuality was often approached from a view that sought to find an inherent psychopathology as its root cause"
- "Was", past tense. It is no longer considered a 'disease'. Similarly, there used to be a "disease" in ancient Greece and in the American South which gave slaves the pathological desire to escape slavery. DS (talk) 14:26, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
