Article creation
[edit]Dear wikipedians, I’ve created this list-type wikiarticle with the information that was contained (until earlier today) in the Operators section of the article about the Twin Otter. Before doing that I’ve raised the matter in the article’s Talk Page and received favourable feedback.
I’ve based the structure of this list article on the similar one for the Lockheed Constellation; and I haven’t changed the content exported from the source article. Hence… a bit of update of this info may be needed! Kind regards, DPdH (talk) 11:47, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
Sources, please?
[edit]Hi Wikipedians, I'm trying to add citations for as many entries in this list as possible; and have just tagged the article as "refimprove". Can anyone please point me to verifiable sources that can be used in this task? Either online or printed, if possible in English (also can use sources in Spanish, Italian, French, German or Portuguese). Thanks & regards, DPdH (talk) 12:42, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
- It has now been almost three years since the article was tagged and most of the entries are still not referenced and thus fail WP:V. I propose that the unref entries be removed as per policy. Anyone object? - Ahunt (talk) 14:25, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- Given that another two years have passed and this article is now a mess of unsourced entries, I think it is time to clean up the airlines without refs cited, as per this consensus. - Ahunt (talk) 22:23, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
- Done - Ahunt (talk) 22:50, 8 August 2018 (UTC)

Image request
[edit]I have removed the specific request for an image It is requested that an image or photograph of Argentine Twin Otter be included in this article to improve its quality. as we dont have any requirement for specific images on the page as any image of a Twin Otter from any country will do, so clearly not a mattery of article quality. MilborneOne (talk) 15:04, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
- Raised at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Aircraft#Twin Otter image request for comment. MilborneOne (talk) 15:12, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
- I agree the request for a specific country is not appropriate. The article has a number of images already, it doesn't need any specific ones unless an explanation as to "why" is provided. - Ahunt (talk) 17:12, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
- I'd agree, unless there is a verifiably notable reason why Argentine aircraft stand out from the crowd? I don't know of any such reason, mind you. Even then, I would expect any suitable image to be already in use on say the Argentine Air Force article or some such. This is certainly not the place to be pleading for uploads. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 17:34, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
