Unsourced claims re living person
[edit]This list contains unsourced factual assertions about more than 600 living persons. Moreover, it appears that the majority of such persons are not independently notable and are redlinks. Without sourcing, this list cannot stand, as it raises concerns under our policies regarding verifiability (WP:V) and biographical material on living persons (WP:BLP). - @Cbowers77:: Looks like you've been the person most active in updating this list over the past four years. Can you respond to the sourcing issues raised above? Cbl62 (talk) 13:57, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
- I have just continued updating it the way it had been updated previous to my joining. As far as sources, it's a simple search to source each line (i.e SMU football coaches) but I would need guidance on how often to cite. After each individual name, or would one citation per school suffice?
- As far as the redlinks go, I am working on creating as many as I can, but there will always be several due to movement within the coaching profession. This year for instance, was a record number of coaching changes at every level of football, largely due to the lack of movement due to COVID-19 recently. "Notability" is also apparently much different within the profession vs Wikipedia guidelines so there is some new to me issues there. I went from four years without a deletion nomination to two in the past week, so I'll be patient and see what happens. Cbowers77 (talk) 17:31, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
