Merge proposal

This is basically a disambiguation page rather than a list itself. It seems like the information here could be reasonably merged into Cross (disambiguation) or Cross to improve them and make it more visible to people who are interested. Phil (talk) 19:17, 27 April 2016 (UTC)

Oppose merge. There's no dispute that this is a disambiguation page, but that's not a reason to merge, as disambiguation pages are valuable in themselves, hence why Wikipedia even has the concept of disambiguation pages. This currently lists two pages that are specifically lists of crosses. If someone is looking for an article that is a list of crosses, they're not going to find that in cross (disambiguation) (that dab page is a list linking to different meanings of the word "cross", not itself a list of types of crosses; plus, the "cross (disambiguation)" page has a hundred or so meanings, in which these two linked lists could easily get lost if they were merged) or cross (which is an article describing what a cross is and its history, rather than a list of crosses). This page is a valuable disambiguation page that assists people wanting to look up the specific topic of a list of different types of crosses. —Lowellian (reply) 23:11, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
