Number of gangs
[edit]The source stated here for the number of gangs is verified, but I'm trying to understand why the LAPD only states 250. Does anyone know ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.194.217.33 (talk) 13:15, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
unreferenced
[edit]most of the gangs listed here are not referenced individually and there in no overall reference that might include them either. Therefore, by WP guidelines, all unreferenced entries should be removed and kept out of this list. Questions/comments? Hmains (talk) 16:26, 17 August 2014 (UTC)

Should be deleted
[edit]This crappy, horribly incomplete mix of historic Mafia, current street gangs, and motorcycle clubs is a disgrace and needs to be deleted.

- For starters, there is certainly no reasonable way this should be a disambiguation. A disamb page is for a topic whose title may refer to more than one subject. A good example is John Smith. Lots of people have that name, the disamb page offer options. I am removing the suggestion that this should be a disamb page.
- If you feel the article has specific problems that need to be addressed, please discuss them here and we can work through what the problems are and how to address them.
- If you feel that the topic is not notable, you may feel the page should be deleted. Things to consider first and the method are outlined at Wikipedia:Deletion policy. - SummerPhDv2.0 02:58, 19 February 2017 (UTC)
How is a historic dirt racing motorcycle club listed as a street gang ?? 82abnmedic (talk) 01:44, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
