Iran

The list implies that there has never been a McDonald's restaurant in Iran, yet it is listed under the category "former" in the map. Which is correct? --Alessandro159 (talk)

There has *never* been McDOnald's in Iran. Someone keeps editing this page and claiming that there was but without any citations, and all research points to it being complete fiction. --Impulsion (talk)

Vatican City

Is there actually a McDonald's in Vatican City? It is undoubtedly in a Vatican owned building but yet lies outside the Vatican itself.

According to the Wikipedia article on Vatican City:

According to the Lateran Treaty, certain properties of the Holy See that are located in Italian territory, most notably the Papal Palace of Castel Gandolfo and the major basilicas, enjoy extraterritorial status similar to that of foreign embassies These properties, scattered all over Rome and Italy, house essential offices and institutions necessary to the character and mission of the Holy See.

Does anyone know if this is the case with the building housing the Vatican McDonald's? And if so, it seems that it is in fact an in Italy and not Vatican City.

You are right. It is actually one block away from Vatican. You can see map: http://imgur.com/a/QXmqw Li-sung (talk) 14:13, 26 March 2017 (UTC)

Mcdonald's Guyana

According to the [Worldwide], Guyana have a Mcdonald's. Why it's not on the list?אבוש ג'ואל והסבא השביעי (talk) 19:29, 16 October 2017 (UTC)

Hi. Just to warn everybody, first off: The link given does link to an official list of countries, but clicking the link for Guyana McDonald's website in the list itself leads to a malicious and harmful website that attempts to install malware on your computer. A few things:
  • I don't know why the McDonald's corporate website lists Guyana, because it's impossible to find otherwise. Not a single result on Google showed a Guyana McDonald's, and the only kind of commentary I could find was from residents of Guyana talking about how they're one of the only countries in the world without a McDonald's.
  • You should format links like this: [http://www.google.com/ Google] if you want the link to work properly. Here is a non-broken link to the intended website.
Once again, be careful with that link, because it seems McDonald's isn't being very careful about the sites they link to. BruzerFox 10:14, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
