Why revert ?

[edit]

Why was this revision reverted when it was updating the data ? (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_countries_by_air_pollution&oldid=1227458318) Lamanachos (talk) 09:46, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There is no point, Wumao will keep editing pages. The source for the university of Chicago has China right there in its data, listed as 28.18 PM2.5. However Wumao decided to edit the Wiki page and remove China from the table because it is embarrassing for China.
I could go right now and add China into the table, however it's just a waste of time, likely a few hours later some Wumao will just remove China's listing again. This is the downfall of Wikipedia in fact, it is why it is considered unreliable by education institutions and not considered to be a real encyclopedia. 110.174.165.118 (talk) 07:10, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Need protection on this article ASAP.

[edit]

I need this article to get the protection that blocks IP users from editing. There are lots of IP users vandalizing, primarily trying to censor the top 3 which are South Asian countries. Specifically, they are the three biggest South Asian countries: India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. It makes you think that maybe they are from those countries and don't want their country to look bad. I checked the geolocation of the most recent IP vandal. It's from Dubai. Dubai is the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The UAE is 59.4% South Asian in terms of its population composition. Alexysun (talk) 07:56, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why isn't soil and water pollution listed?

[edit]

This page directly pops up when you search the dirtiest countries in the world . But the article is only about air pollution . And how does an university in Chicago evaluate the rest of the world's air quality ? What's the source of this data ? If you're going to make a list , do it properly . And where are university of Chicago getting these data from , I'm living at the heart of a city and the score here is 69 currently , so the average should be way less than that . 27.147.200.176 (talk) 07:21, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The source provided "university of Chicago" has China right there in its data, so what Wumao on this wiki page decided to redact China from the table?

[edit]

I guess this is the downfall of a site that has no paid writers or anything, and just allows random nobodies to edit and write anything, you get Wumao removing anything that is embarrassing for China. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.174.165.118 (talk) 07:07, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe they can implement a captcha system to stop bots from the CCP erasing knowledge. I don't know why they don't ban Chinese IPs from editing articles that are not in one of the Chinese languages. 193.55.29.112 (talk) 10:49, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
