I have cleaned this list of non-notable companies; this includes companies with no Wikipedia article and no satisfactory third party claim to notability. This is in line with the Manual of Style guidance for lists and notability guidelines. Remember that Wikipedia is not a directory - listing all companies is not necessarily useful. Before you add a new companies please ensure they meet the relevant notability guidelines, supported by reliable sources. In general it is best if the company has a Wikipedia page (on which notability is established) before it is added.
Over the last few weeks, an IP editor has added a tremendous number of redlinks, mislinked entries, and other odd additions. I've reverted the redlinks while retaining valid new entries and returned the categories back to ICB cats (I'm not sure why they were changed and the lead of the article still stated ICB). It would be helpful to start a discussion here before any other massive changes. Kuru(talk)13:38, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
