Geography category?

I'm not sure that this article belongs in Category:Geography of Portland, Oregon. I'm removing it, and if anyone has a justification for putting it back, feel free, but I would be interested to know the rationale. KConWiki (talk) 21:47, 3 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Naming of article - Oregon vs. Maine

I am going to rename "List of community gardens in Portland" to "List of community gardens in Portland, Oregon" to help avoid potential future confusion if someone ever starts one about Maine. KConWiki (talk) 21:50, 3 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

This page should not be speedily deleted because the list is adequately defined and sourced, is not indiscriminate, and has encyclopedic content. --Chiswick Chap (talk) 09:41, 18 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

it is just a list

I don't agree, but a list inevitably has list-like qualities. I have added independent, reliable sources to the Context section. These are sufficient to show that the topic is of encyclopedic interest to people in the city and beyond, and that multiple groups of stakeholders are involved. Notability is thus firmly established.
